Hi! I am Salim

I've been involved in design leadership and worked as a UX designer for over 20 years.

Current Position:
In my current position, I serve as the lead UX designer. I foster a culture of continuous improvement within the UX team, encouraging the exploration of innovative solutions. I’m also responsible for the professional development of the team, cultivating values, and promoting a positive team environment.

Collaboration:
I maintain close collaboration with both product management and engineering, overseeing progress and facilitating strong relationships within the UX design team.

Individual Contributor:
Additionally, I occasionally take on individual contributor roles, actively engaging in tasks such as user flow, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. I am committed to my own growth and am dedicated to providing training and development opportunities for the UX team. I possess expertise in designing for accessibility and am eager to contribute to projects focused on creating inclusive user experiences.

What I do when I am not designing

I enjoy crafting blog posts and articles to spread the word about my UX design journey, and I’ve got a flair for photography. My lens and I, we’ve got a thing for exploring new places and capturing the world’s beauty. When not designing or snapping pics, you’ll find me grooving to the rhythm of music, and if the stars align, I might just dazzle you with a little karaoke serenade.
